Colour Restore Super Cool Ash is an ultra-cold brunette toner, designed to neutralise unwanted red and orange tones in darker bases and to create cold greyed overtones in deeper blonde, highlighted, bleached and natural grey shades. Super Cool Ash behaves on the hair like a traditional conditioner, whilst also depositing the colour pigments deep inside the hair. The product is PPD Free, Peroxide and Ammonia free.
If you are a brunette who keeps noticing unwanted red, orange, and warm tones in your hair, Super Cool Ash will be the answer. In particular, artificial coloured brunette hair can develop a rusty, red flare overtime. Using Super Cool Ash every few washes, will keep underlying warm tones neutralised and ensure the hair always displays a cool, neutral brunette shade.
If applied to lightened bases such a bleached, highlighted or balayage, Super Cool Ash will produce a true metallic deep ash tone. Super Cool Ash will also neutralise orange tones that often appear with bleaching and lightening. The product can be applied immediately after lightening and or used as a regular conditioner to retain your desired cool ash shade.
Many people with darker bases are afraid of the rusty or warm tones that might be exposed if a hair colour remover is applied to take out unwanted permanent colour. However, Super Cool Ash is the perfect product to apply immediately after colour removal. Firstly, it is a non-peroxide formula, so it will not cause the unwanted colour to reoxidize and return. Secondly, the deep ash pigment will counteract any unwanted warmth displayed, giving you a neutral new base colour.
